Regenerative Podiatry

Regenerative Podiatry is a branch of regenerative medicine that offers treatments for various soft tissue conditions like plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinitis (and other tendinopathies involving peroneal, posterior and anterior tibial tendons) and even bone conditions associated with arthritis in foot and ankle. 

Acute and chronic injuries can be also be treated with Regenerative Podiatry treatments. These treatments may speed up the patient's healing following injuries like ankle sprains, tendon injuries and even fractures. These therapies include:

(PRP) Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy:  Concenrated platelets and growth factors, from a patient's own blood, are injected into the affected area to promote healing and reduce inflammation. 

Amniotic Injection Therapy: Injections containing the natural components of amniotic tissue and umbilical cord, such as collagen, growth factors, and anti-inflammatory proteins, are used to reduce inflammation and pain, and promote tissue regeneration.

Class IV Laser Therapy: A non-invasive treatment that uses high intensity light energy to penetrate tissue and accelerate cellular healing, (through a process called photobiomodulation) which stimulates cellular metabolism, and may reduce pain, swelling and inflammation 

(ESWT) Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy: Radial Pressure Wave Therapy uses acoustic sound waves to reduce muscle pain, and activate connective tissue, and temporarily increase blood flow. This therapy may reduce pain and accelerate the body's natural healing process. It can be used to treat both acute and chronic conditions like plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis, and other muscle and tendon pathologies.
